One of the things I have always enjoyed about the web is that it gives you a voice, and I have blogged on and off for a number of years. When I decided to be in business as a web developer a number of people suggested that this kind of blogging I had been doing was not really professional of a business website. I took their advice and removed it.

I had some time back had a blog using Google Blogger and whilst that was good, I had by this stage become a WordPress convert and didn’t want to give up what I had learned. I also really value one of the things that the Internet has provided, a place where people can have a say. Ultimately I concluded that I would set up a free WordPress.com blog and use this as my outlet for my occasional spay on all manner of things. I am not a consistent blogger and I respect those who can sit down and blog every day, however I do like to have my say now and again.

I have also set this up so that once I am happy with a blog post I can post it to Facebook as well. The blog for some time has been using the free theme Garland, which I think is understated and comfortable.
